ANOTHER’S NARROW ESCAPE
(by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATIONINVERCARGILL, Nov. 17. John Brass, aged 15 years, was drowned in the estuary on Sunday while bathing with two others. He got beyond his depth. His body was recovered. Another youth narrowly escaped, he being rescued after a struggle_ by Stanley Porter. Neither qould swim.
