BLUE BELLS OF BRITAIN.
Among a sheaf of good stories brought back by Sir Harry Lauder from his recent world tour is one concerning a Scotsman who called an Englishman to account for having referred to the English army. “British army, if you please,” he insisted. Later in the evening when the* two were at a sing-song together, the Highlander called upon the other to suggest a song. “Righto!” said the Englishman. “Tret’s have the ‘Blue Bells of Britain.’ ”
