ELECTRIC LIGHT CARNIVAL.
AT SHOW GROUNDS. Readers are referred to the programme published on the front page of this issue. A casual glanc© will show that a most attractive programme, probably the best yet submitted, will be presented at the Show grounds next Wednesday night. The presence of Mr. Dunbar, who represented England at the Olympic Games in 1920, will lend a special interest to the hurdle and high jump events, whilst the horsejumping contest (the first to be held here by the aid of electric light) will be a decided novelty. . Moosman’s orchestra and a specially engaged concert party will render items at intervals dqring the evening. The merry-go-round, circus, buckjumpers, and others will .be in full swing, and a veritable carnival by night will be provided, with snort and entertainment for young and old.
