A delegation from the British Trade Union Congress was pfesent at the Soviet Trade Union Congress, where they continually, received ovations throughout the proceedings. Zinovieff strongly criticised MacDonald for his democratic pacifism/ and urged a universal union of the labour classes. Mr Purcell is reported to have endorsed the latter proposal. He saw no possibility of ; omitting the Russian trade unions therefrom. Beit Tillett appealed for.. union in the fight against capitalism: /
