INTERESTING POINTS. * . Attention is drawn, by advertisement in this issue to the Stratford A. and P. Association’s fifteenth annual spring show, which will take place on November 26 and 27. The following points in connection with the schedule will be of interest to intending exhibitors. In the open hunters’ competition the water jump will still he included, but to meet the wishes of a number of competitors it has been discontinued in the leaping competition. The prize -money in this event has been increased to £ls. A new class for the beet decorated pony has been included, and will provide scope for the ingenuity of junior exhibitors. The yearling classes of the pedigree Jersey section have been divided into junior and senior divisions, and arrangements made to secure that exhibitors have every opportunity of showing their stock to the best advantage. A new class for three females, progeny of the same sire, has been included, and the classes arranged for competitors who have not won a first prize on former occasions. Messrs Lovell and Christmas have donated a 109 guinea trophy, and this will be open for competition in this section. In the pedigree Friesian section classes are arranged on attractive lines, and Messrs Joseph Nathan and Co.’s trophy, valued at 100 guineas, will "gain be open for competition. Additional prize money and classes have been allocated for the Jersey and. crossbred sections, and with the handsome trophy presented by the Wanganui Fresh Food Co. for the grade and crossbred section much interest amongst stock breeders will be encouraged. For the many people whose interest is "entree! in the home industries section has been arr-mged an excellent series of classes, and a perusal of the schedule is recommended.
