The Fanners’ Co-op.-wish to draw attention to the sale of timber to be sold to-morrow at 12 o’clock on section next saleyards. Quantity of useful timber and iron will be sold in lots to. suit buyers. The same firm will hold a. sale of household furniture, etc., at Waver!ey on Friday next at 2 p.m. The vendor, Mr 1). Irving,, is leaving the district, and everything except car and piano will be sold without reserve. This is an opportunity to buy good household furniture and other fittings.
The sale to be held on the A. and P. Show Grounds on Thursday, 20th inst., the second morning of the sho„w, on behalf of Mr John Nicolson, is creating a great deal of attention in the Jersey world. Mr Nicolson, who is one of the oldest breeders on the coast, has always bred from proven strains and paid particular attention to type and constitution, and building on these sure foundations has now a very choice little herd. Owing to his small farm being insufficient to carry all his stock, he is compelled to dispose of everything with the exception of his three yearling heifers and heifer calves. This sale is practically without .reserve and affords a unique opportunity to young breeders who wisli to get foundation stock and others who desire to purchase the right quality'.
