NOLANTOWN MERGER.

COiIMISSION APPOINTED. Messrs Spratt and Rave received a letter stating that a commission to hear the petition for the Nolantown merger has been set up bv the Department of Internal Affairs. The commission will consist of Mr J. S. Barton, S.M., Mr John Cook (New Plymouth), Commissioner of Crown Lands in Taranaki; and Mr Oswald Gardiner. Valuation Department, "Wanganui.

No date has. yet beep fixed for the hearing, but it will probably be lit an erly date.
