THE WHITING CASE.
(To the Editor.) T.U connection with. the. recent eas.e agamst Whiting brothers, in the report of • the proceedings it is stated thn.t the milk -onns Whiting brothers were using were very old and in such condition that complaints > were frequent from the factory manager.. J wish to state that the arrangements made between myself and ‘ Whiting brothers were that they should shared milk for me, receiving one-third of the milk cheques and tliey to provide milk cans for taking the milk to the factory. When Whiting brothers started work lor m,e L told them that there weie certain cans in use on the farm which they wore welcome to use so long as they were .suitable, but this did not relieve them of the responsibility to provide cans that were suitable for the work. lam still using the same cans, and whilst they are not in the best order, they are, if kept properly clean, still fit for use. —I am, etc., A. B. ROBERTSON.
