The Journal states that a message from Pergian says that the. sixteen Spaniards who were arrested yesterday (referred to on page 5) have been released, no offence, haying been proved against them. Six others have been detained for unlawfully carrying arms. Two stated that they intended to participate in the conspiracy against De Riyera, but did- not belong to any organisation. Several suspected persons were arrested at Banyuls, carrying revolvers and anarchist documents. The Spanish directory has decided to reinforce the frontier 1 guard.—Reuter.
