AUDIT DEPARTMENT’S ACTION. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ASHBURTON, Nov. 7.Mr. F. M. Watt has decided to resign , his seat on the Ashburton Hospital Board prior to the next meeting, in consequence of having ascertained that the trusteeship which he holds in a company doing business with the board has been held by the Audit Department to constitute him a shareholder instead of a trustee. The Audit Office also brought about Mr Watt’s resignation of the chairmanship of the Power* Board.
