The Government. Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 n.m. to r clay the indications are for south-easterly winds, moderate to strong and backing .by east, to north, then freshening. Mild and hazy conditions, with increasing haze and cloudiness for change shortly. Barometer falling soon. Sea moderate ; tides poor.
