About 280 cadetships at Sandhurst and Woolwich for army commissions arc offered for competition. A woman told the Walsall (England) magistrates that five years ago she borrowed £3 16s from a neighbour. She had paid 12s 8d a week ever since, and still owed the sum she borrowed. The magistrate’s clerk: Yon have paid more than £164. The woman was ad* vised not to pay any more.
