PROTECT FROM BRITAIN. 3¥ CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Noi r . 7, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 6. The Federation of British. Industries issued a memoradum designed to prove that the alterations in Australian tariffs will result in severe detrinient to certain British industries in a manner wherein the framers of the regulations did not intend. They declare they would ivelcome an assurance that the Australian Government was prepared to receive a reasoned statement from the industries concerned and make adjustments removing hardship on individual trdes.
