SHOPS ON FIRT (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATIOXNAPIER. Nov. 6. Three shops in one wooden building in Hastings Street were destroyed by fire this morning. The buildiilg was insured for £SOO in the Smith British Company and belonged to the estate, of Gebrge Faulkner Hodges. A fruiterer was insured for a, like siihr in the Atlas. Miss Young, dressmaker, who had no insurance, was also burned out. CHTLD MISSING. GISBORNE, Nov. 6. Robert Hadwen (aged 11), of Mangapapa Valley, lias been missing for the last 24 hours. He left home at 8 yesterday morning to take eggs to a hospital and thence to proceed to school. He did not arrive at school, and no trace of him has since been found.
