ASSAULT DN HIGH SEAS. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. For assault on a chief engineer on the high seas five of the crew of the Maliaiia were sentenced to three months’ imprisonment,, and for refusing duty they were sentenced to fourteen days, and two of the men, for assaulting the refrigerating engineer, were fined £2O or seven clays. Forty others, lor refusing duty, were ordered to pay Os fid costs.
