DIVIDED OPINIONS. {BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.; _ CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 5. After a three hours’ meeting yesterday members of- the Linwood Tennis Club voted an even 50 to' 50 on a proposal to permit Sunday tennis. The chairman gave his casting vote against and the motion was defeated The Canterbury Cricket Association, after many discussions, has decided to play cricket next Saturday, New Zealand Cup Day.
