ROYAL SHOW.
OPENED TO-DAY. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON N., Nov. ,4. The first RoyaJ Show in New Zealand opened to-day in fine, windy weather. The attendance from early morning was most liberal, and - increased during the afternoon. There was a fine display of cattle and sheep. A , high standard of excellence was maintained in the exhibits in Royal classes.
Judging to-day .was restricted - to home industries, needlework, photograhy and art sections. The stock judging commences to-morrow.
