STRONG. POLICE COMMENT. COSTS AGAINST MUNNS, (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRLbTCH(IRCH, Nov. 4. When an application for a land agent's license by Bert Munns, private inquiry agent, again came before the Court this mornmg the Agents’" Association still opposed it, and Munns said he would not proceed. Tlie Police Superintendent then replied to the allegations that th© police nacl been bribed. In this case he said the author of the allegations was a contemptible liar and an assassin of men’s characters. The magistrate said the allegations were unworthy of notice, and gave costs against Munns. [Muniis previously applied for a license, and when opposed by the Land Agents’ Association asked for an adjournment, which was granted. The above is the sequel.]
