A REPORTED APPLICATION. “HAS BEEN DECLINED.” SAYS MR NOSWORTHY. (By Telegraph.— Special to Star.) .WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. Ihe Minister of Agriculture was asked by Mr Bell (Bay of Islands) tonight what action he proposed to take in with the reported application by Yestey Bros, for a license to handle dairy produce at their works. Ihus if granted, said Mr Bell, would materially reduce the earnings of the Farmers’ Freezing Co., whose facilities tor handling dairy produce are adequate. ; , application,” replied the Hon. W. Nosworthy, “has been declined. }' e .,. that there are sufficient facilities without giving them a license.”
