DAMAGE IN BRITAIN. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Nov. 2. Large areas of country throughout England and Wales are flooded as the result of; fifteen hours of continuous rain during the week-end. Severe damage is reported in the agricultural districts. Floods in AVales, Shropshire, Devonshire, and Worcestershire isolated many farms and threaten heavy loss of stock. A gale, which, reached seventy miles an hour in velocity, seriously affected coastivise shipping. INVASION BY THE SEA. WATER SURROUNDS HOUSES. SERIOUS FLOODS IN FRANCE. ' . . PARIS. Nov. 2.
