PRISONERS RECAPTURED.

FURTHER DETAILS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESB ASSOCIATION. TAIHAPE, Nov. 1. The two prisoners, Dale and Wigg, who escaped from Waikare prison, camp near Eura. on Monday, were recaptured by constables Grant and Thompson, of Mangaweka and Hunterville, yesterday evening. The prisoners had reached Kawhatau district at the back of Mangaweka, and had travelled about eighty miles since leaving the prison camp. Escapees were brought to Taihape and lodged in the lockup, and will appear before the Justices of the Peace to-day.
