The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that the indications are for south-easterly winds, strong to gale. The Aveatlier appears likely to lie cloudy and unsettled. Heax’y rain is to be expected, with rivers flooded. Barometer unsteady, but barometer rising shortly. Sea- heavy ; tides good.
