THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, squally at times and backing by west to south. The weather appeal's likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable. Barometer unsteady. Sea considerable; tides good.
