This wag the. result of the high prices ruling for fowl, wheat. It was contended the motion would drive many wheat-groyers out of business, and that Sb.utii Island interests were not identical' with the North. intimately it was decided to suspend action on the resolution till the wheatgrowers had an opportunity of passing an opinion upon it.
