Extra choice ox, '33s per 100 lbs; choice and prime, 26s to 325; ordinary and plain, 21s to 255; prime young cow and heifer, 24s to 255; ordinary cow, 18s to 235; rough beef, 13s to 17s; heavy prime steers, £l2 10s to £l4 ss; lighter, £lO 15s to £l2 7s 6d; light, £8 to £lO 10s; small and unfinished, £5 15s to £7 15s; heavy prime young cows and heifers. £7 15s to £9 12s 6d; lighter, £6 to £7 10s; light, £4 to £5 15s;, other cows, £1 10s to £3 15s; bulls, ‘£2 to £8 ss. Calves. —Large numbers. Prices declined. Runners. 78s to 945; heavy vealers, 58s to 68s; medium, 42s to 465; light, 21. s to 40s; smaller, 13s to 19s; small unfinished, 3s to 8s ; rough, 12s to 255.
