A unfortunate accident occurred at Ngaere on Saturday, rvhen a boy named Donald Stewart, a member of a picnic party, sustained a broken leg (the Post reports). He was playing in the gardens when the accident oceured. Dr Steven attended to the injury, and the sufferer was removed to the Stratford Hospital, where he is progressing satisfactorily. The boy, who is a son of Mr Stewart, of Monmouth road, is a pupil of the Stratford Primary School, and some time ago sustained a similar injury when playing in the playground.
