“THE BIG THREE."
THE STOMACH, THE BOWELS, AND THE BLOOD. “The Big Three'’ in the kingdom of health, for all practical purposes, are the stomach, the bowels and the blood. Each is dependent on the other, and perfect health cannot be enjoyed unless the whole three are in proper working order. The great utility of “Maltexo” (Wilson’s Malt Extract) lies in the fact that it is beneficial to all three. It has natural properties which make it a< valuable digestive agent and remedy for indigestion. It also has properties which act as a laxative—overcoming constipation and removing poisonous waste matter. At the same time it enriches and purifies the blood. “Maltexo” ensures glorious health and vigour because it assists the stomach and bowels to function naturally, while toning up and strengthening' the whole body. With or without cod liver oil. One and 21b jars ahd 71b tins for families.—3 INCREASED PRODUCTION IN DAIRYING. You would materially increase the milk yield and butter-fat test of your herd by methodically drenching each cow after calving with Sykes’ Drench. Do not. overlook this, because the test and the yield depend absolutely upon the condition of the blood of the animal. Cores cannot give a profitable yield unless every attention is paid to them at calving time, and there is no better method of warding off milk fever, mammitis, bad cleansing, etc., than drenching with Sykes’ Drench. It will purify the blood and system. It will tone up the digestive organs, and act as a preventive of all disorders which tend to decrease your profits. The cost is so small, only 1/6 a packet or 17/- a dozen. Each packet contains two drenches. Obtainable from stores everywhere.
Mr John Donald, one of Australasia’s foremost Friesian breeders, says: “For several years I have used Sykes’ Drench at Westmere, and I am pleased to state that it has always given me entire satisfaction.” —72
