INFERIOR DIETARY.
PREPARED FOODS. During a. discussion on diet and health by the British Medical Association, Dr. J. S. Hanson of Warrington commented upon the robust and healthy appearance of men in the army during the war and upon the fact tnat the large majority lost weight discharge from the Service. This, be said, “I attribute to inferior dietary, with a lack of broths soups, meats, potatoes and vegetables! there is an increase of tasty meals* of ;,. aiK { chips, preserved meats, pickles bread, margarine and tea, especially of tea. Fresh milk is used sparingly, and tinned milk is seen everywhere.
