Broadwood and Gala Day ran six furlongs in lmin IS 3-ssec. -Browning Beauty took lmin 35 2-5 sec- to cover seven‘furlongs, Sr Gilbert accompanying over the first five then eased up. ’ Star Kanger and Jubilance ran six lor longs in lmin 19 3-s.see. Passionate ran the last three furlongs of his work in 43 l-ssec. Marble Bell was in front of Pretty Man and Joy .Ride over seven furlongs, the last five taking lmin ssec. Sleepy Sol covered six furlongs in Imm 25,sec, and John Dix five furlongs in lmin 9 3-osec. ” Namutere, undejr a, strong pull, took lmin 2/sec to cover six furlongs. Cohesian was just in front of ilndiate over a half-mile in 54 l-ssec. Narrow Neck covered seven furloims in lmin 34 2-ssec. ” Bevis was better than Little Flower over four furlongs in 51 2-osec. ■ Lord Thurnham did six furlongs in lmin 17 3-osec, and Winkle’s Wheel a similar distance in lmin 1 Ssec. Cawnpore was not after serious, time in his work. Polonette, Tactician and Kamehameha were in that order when they defeated Companion in lmin 12-osec over five furlongs. Archibald covered exactly six furlongs in lmin Id -l-s*ec. Gold Fern ran a half mile in 51 1-5 sec. Libertas and Arch Ami, going easily over the first part, took lmin ibsec to cover seven furlongs, Tosh accompanying them over the last five furlongs. Philates nan six furlongs in lmin 21 -1-ssec\ Loyal Irish was going better'than Bight and Left at the conclusion "of a round covered in lmin 53seo. Antomne ran three furlongs nicely in 3S 2-ssee.
