WATER SUPPLY POLLUTED. The body of John Morris, aged 38, c£ Rhydycroesan, who served in the Great War with the N.Z.E.F., was recovered from the Coventry reservoir at Penygwellv recently. By this pollution of many millions of gallons of water —the supply for Oswestry for 'months : —the borough ratepayers had to find more than an additional 2d rate. All the water from Penygwelly reservoir is being run into a stream., and Oswestry is having recourse to the Liverpool Corporation water supply, from which they are entitled to draw 250,000 gallons a day at- 6d per 1000 gallons. This supply is mjare than ample for the needs of the 10,000 inhabitants of Oswestry. '
