SPORTS ON MONDAY.
The cycle road race held by the amateur club come time ago created a good deal of public interest, but, judging by the entries received' and the interest already shown, Monday’s race promises to eclipse its predecessor. Apart from the road race, which starts and finishes in front of the grandstand, an attractive programme of running, hurdling events and discus and iavelin throwing will be nresented. Tt is hoped that the public will show its appreciation of the amateur club’s holiday attraction by bestowing liberal support.
