REMARKABLE PERFORMANCES. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH. Oct. 23. At the annual sports of St. Jlede’s Catholic College to-day, H. Lee proved himself to be the fastest idioclboy sprinter soen in Christchurch lor vonrs. In liis heat of the 220yds liandioap he won from scratch, and lowered the leeprd to 24 2-ssecs. In the afternoon he put up an even more wonderful record by winning the 100yds handicap from scratch in the remarkably fine time of lOsecs. He had the assistance of a strong roitliwesterlv .wind behind him, hut nevertheless his performance was a hr’iMant one, as the track was not fast after the .recent rains.
