De Valera, on behalf of the standing committee of the Sinn Fein, has issued a manifesto.to the electors of Northern Ireland stating that Sinn Fein candidates stand for the unity and independence of Ireland. They uncompromisingly oppose and will use eA r ery effective means to prevent the partition of Ireland or the subjection of Ireland, in whole or in part, to any foreign Power. They believe in friendly relations with England, but will not recognise as binding any laws made by England for Ireland, and will resist to the. utmost every attempt by England to impose its will on Ireland or to exploit Ireland politically or econqmically.
