A CROCODILE
ATTACKS GEOLOGIST. NARROW ESCAPE. “AWESOME NOISES.” BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Oct. 22, 10.50 a.m. BRISBANE, Oct. 22. The Government geologist and two companions were walking near the Gilbert River when a large crocodile climbed out ot a waterhole and chased them, making awesome noises. Itnarrowly missed grabbing one man. Dogs attacked the saurian, which one of the party shot.
