CONTINUOUS ATTACKS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Oct. 21, 1.30 p.m. PEKING, Oct. 20. A Chinwangtap message states that a fierce battle raged throughout yesterday on I.he Shanhaikuan : front, Chang Tso Lin’s forces making continuous attacks, which were repulsed towards nightfall. The latter retreated, leaving a large number of killed and wounded. The situation today, is quiet.
