The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 15th instant: Tallow—"We quote present spot values for the following descriptions : Fine mutton 51s 3d per cwt, good beef 49s 9d; market active. DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs Dalgetv and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 16th instant:' The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom during September was 431,OOOcwt, as compared with 336,000 cwt for the correspondihg period of last year. We quote: New Zealand salted 225 s (2205), New Zealand exceptional ! brands 228 s (2245), Danish 248 s (2305), Australian finest salted 210 s (208 s).
