SCULLING.

AUSTRALASIAN TITLE. TO BE ROWED ON OCTOBER 25. The big sculling match between Dick Arnst (challenger) and Pat Hannan (holder) for the Australasian championship will be held on the Waikato river at Hamilton next Saturday. October 25. Interest is being evinced in the event, for on the result of this race will follow a challenge lor the world championship. Both Artist anti Hannan are now in Hamilton topping off their training. Each day ’ sees them go out in. the - presence of a large and interested audience, and speculation is rife as to who the winner is likely to he. A fust undertaken a great deal of strenuous physical exorcise, including rowing over the :p----miles course, twee daily, as well as running, walking, and cycling. Hannan also; does the course twice daily, and walks and skips a good deal. The race will be against the si. ream and will finish at the traffic bridge.
