THE INSURANCES. (by TELEGRAPH —PEESS ASSOCIATION: WELLINGTON. Oct, 18. A four-roomed cottage at Heretauuga, owned bv Mr I>. M. Findlav, solicitor, was destroyed by fire at 3 o’clock this morning. It was unoccupied at the lime. 'On Thursday a quantity of new furniture and- personal effects were transferred there. The house was insured for £7OO in the Yorkshire and the furniture for £4OO in the’New Zealand Company. Amongst the effects saved was a trunk with £2OO worth of jewellery.
