ARBITRATION COURT HEARING. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, Oct. 17. The Arbitration Court, under the presidency of Mr Justice Frazer, was occupied all day to-day and will ~e occupied for some days to come with the hearing of the waterside workers' dispute. Owing to the fact that the dispute is largely concerned with ship repairing work, it has been agreed to take the Dominion hearing here in proximity ta the Port Chalmers docks. The employers are seeking a reduction in wages and the men are a?king for an increase.

The hearing will be continued to. morrow morning and possibly to-mnnow afternoon, and again on Tuesday, and on Wednesday if necessary.
