PAINTER INJURED.
FALL FROM A ROOF. REMOVED TO HOSPITAL. A fall from the roof of a house necessitated the removal to the Hawera Hospital, yesterday morning cf Mr G. ' Jmrs. a master painter, of HaAA’era. \$V S ’ " as working on Mr i j , " \' lianis ’ Ijouse in South Road, had placed a ladder on a benzine box, and was diming over the spouting on to the root Avhen the box beloAV moved, and he tel 1 head first on some concrete, injuries to his head rendered him unconscious, and Avith minor bruises about ms body he was removed to the hospital.
Inquiries at the hospital, this mornelicited the information that Mr \ll lays’ injuries Avere not serious, a cut on his head being all thvt 'required attention.
