CAPTURE OF MECCA.
BRITAIN’S INTEREST. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received Oct. 17. 1.40 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 16. The Times says that Britain cannot remain indifferent to the capture of Mecca. There is a possibility of new unrest in Palestine, the trans-Jordania reactions in Egypt necessitating precautionary measures, besides the relief of refugees at Jeddah.
