SHARP.—In fond and loving memory of our dear mother, Beatrice Annie Sharp, who passed awav on October 16th, 1922. Two sad years ago to-day, dear mother, We stood beside your bed; Our hearts were crushed and broken When we saw that you were dead. Gentle m manner, patient in pain, Mother dear, you left us, Heaven to gain; With your nature so gentle and actions so kind, Hard in this world is your equal to find. Inserted by her loving daughter and son-in-law, B. and G. Davis, Kapuni. SHARP. —In fond and loving remembrance of our dear wife and mother, who departed this life at Kapuni on 16th October, 1922. We cannot say, we will not say, That she is dead—she is just awav; With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand, She wandered into an unknown land,. And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be since she lingers there. And we, oh, we who the wildest yearn For the old-time step and the glad return, Think of her faring on as dear In the land of there as- of the land of here; Think-of her still the same, as we say She is not dead, she is just. away. Inserted by her loving husband, sons and daughters.
