Received Oct. 15, 11.25 a.m. OTTAWA, Oct. 14. , The names of the foiif members, of Stefanssoh’s; party whose bodies .were found on Island are: James Murray, Dr, Allister Mdekay (British sicentists), Henry Reaiichat (a French scientist), aiid Stanley Morris (a Canadian sailor). The remnants of their camp include canend food, indicating that all were frozen to death and had not starved. They had left the survivors, wlio crossed the prick ice and made for the mainland. ,'The dead explorers had reached Heraldv Island, fifty miles portfceast of Wrdfigel Island, where all trace of tbferil was lost for' ten years.
The Karluk sailed from Victoria in January, 1913, with the largest number of scientists of any Polrif expedition. Stefahsson was not on tlib Karluk when slie was wrecked.
