Recent reports, from Mukden of a big Chang Teo Lin victory last weekend auneav to be much exaggerated. The latest reports from foreign sources show that while the Fingteiners broke through a wall near Shanhaikwan they were subsequently driven back beyond the wall on the main front. The Chihlites recovered all the ground lost at Shanhaikwan. where at present both forces are in their original positions.
