NELLIE BRAMLEY.
OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. “PEG O’ MY HEART.” A most attractive and istriking delineation of character is given, by the talented young actress, Nellie Bramley, in her favourite masterpiece, “Peg o’ My Heart,” in which she appears as the pretty and wayward lush eoleen. in this fine play she will he seen to-night at the Opera House. Everywhere she has appeared she has been given wonderful receptions, but in no one of ter characters _ has she scored such an overwhelming success as in this depicting of the Irish girl who, pitch-forked by a strange fate into unusual aud uncongenial . surroundings, yet by he« native wit, her innate goodness of heart and her. charm generally wins over even those who treated her with a lofty contempt or an outright dislike. Most theatre-goers know the story of the untutored young Irish girl who is unexpectedly brought into the home of her aristocrat English relatives, and upsets the dignity of the household, with her gauche ways. The revival of this attractive play has been exceedingly popular, and Miss Bramley’s appearance in the character is certain to he a great attraction. Mr. George Hewlett will take the paid of Jerry, Miss Sviyia McNair that of the cold Mrs. Chichester, and Miss Ethel Bash-ford will be iseen as the icicle cousin, Ethel. It will be well to book early at Mrs. Cook’s Store, Opera. House.
