DEMANDED BY BRITISH: FROM TURKISH AUTHORITIES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 12. The Turks are violating the decisions of the commission dealing with the transference of Greeks from Turkey, which were the result of the Graeco-Turkish war. They ordered 30,000 Greeks, who were settled in Constantinople, to leave the country within ten days, after which they would be forcibly expelled. Kemal Pasha is returning to Angora owing to the gravity of the Turco-Britisli situation in Iraq. ■ A message from Angora states that the corhmander of the British forces sent a letter to the Turkish commander demanding a clear understanding as to the territorial status quo. Cabinet sat all night. The ex-Sultan of Turkey, who is reported to be in straitened circumstances, will be granted £IOO a month for life by the Begum of Bhopal, the only female Moslem ruler in India,.
