TEACHER SENTENCED.
SEMOUS OFFENCE. . (BY TELEGRAPH- —PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 11. Several prisoners were sentenced at the Supreme Court to-day. William Fraser Park, a school teacher, on a charge of indecent assault, was sentenced to five years’ gaol, the Judge remarking that accused was to be pitied, but society must be protected. Winton Slark, aged 23, for indecent assault, was given 18 months’ gaol.
