The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day: The indications are for northerly -winds, moderate to strong and freshening for a storm, which appears to be approaching from the west. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. .Barometer falling. Seas rough swell; tides good.
