KAPONGA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Dr. J. R. Boyd, Avho has been in practice at Kaponga, for the past six years, left bv car for Wellington this morning, accompanied by Mrs. Boyd. Dr. Boyd is commencing practice at LoAver Hutt, and is being succeeded at Kaponga by Dr. Munro Hocliin. late of Hamilton, Avho was at one time in practice at Manaia On Saturday afternoon a- number of Mrs. Boyd’s friends assembled at the residence of. Mrs. C. H. Severne to take part in an informal farewell ceremony', during Avhich Mrs. Boyd Avas the recipient of an elegant piece of china, presented as a memento of her stay in Kaponga and the esteem in Avhich she Avas held by all avlio lrad been privileged to knovv her.
