At the wool sales, fleece and skirtings (all grades) went from par to 5 per cent, higher than last sales; scoured were at par. EXPORTS AND IMPORTS. SYDNEY, Oct. 2. The annual report of the Forestry Commission . tabled in the Assembly shows that during the year, ending 30th June, the total value of timber imported was £2,413,000 and exported £443,927. The principal imported trade was with the United States and the export trade with New Zealand. TRADE REPORT. BRISBANE, Oct. 2. The annual report of the State Trade Commissioner for the financial year ending 30th June was tabled in the Assembly, and shows a net loss of £85,691. Four undertakings showed a profit, namely, butchers’ shops, produce agency, railways, refreshment rooms and hotel. WHEAT AT 5/6 PER. BUSHEL. SYDNEY, October 2. The secretary of the Wheat Pool Committee states that the pool had effected heavy overseas sales at a price equivalent to os od per bushel at country stations. LABOUR CAUCUS. SYDNEY. Oct. 1. In the House of Representatives, Dr. Earle Page announced that Commonwealth Treasury bills to the value of £3,000,000 will be issued in London to-day. Two million will have a currency of three months at 3| per cent., and one million will have a currency of four months at 4 per cent.
